Femboy

Femboy is a slang term for a male-assigned or non-binary person whose gender expression is notably feminine. It describes presentation, not sexual orientation or a fixed gender identity.

Typical aesthetic elements: makeup, jewelry, painted nails, skirts or dresses, thigh-high stockings, soft silhouettes, and mannerisms culturally coded feminine.
Not the same as drag or being a trans woman. A femboy may be cis, trans, or non-binary; may identify as straight, gay, bisexual, pansexual, etc. See: gender_expression, cross-dressing.
Online culture: The term spread via 4chan, Reddit, and TikTok (e.g., #FemboyFriday). The aesthetic overlaps with e_girl and androgynous fashion.

Notable example: F1NN5TER, who popularised a highly feminine, e‑girl‑influenced presentation while identifying as genderfluid and bisexual.
