Visual Cues

Visual cues are often the first layer of seduction: clothing, posture, eye contact, skin sheen, and small movements communicate availability and intent.

Key Elements

  • Gaze and eye contact: prolonged, reciprocal eye contact can signal interest; shy or averted gazes often create tension.
  • Facial expression: micro‑expressions, subtle smiles or parted lips are powerful indicators.
  • Movement and posture: leaning in, exposed collarbone or the act of smoothing a shirt can invite attention.
  • Surface effects: gloss on lips, dewy skin, glitter or highlight catch light and draw focus.

Writing Tips

  • Show a visual cue from another character’s perspective to make it legible.
  • Use light and movement (a catch of sunlight on gloss) to create dynamic, filmic prose.
